1957-1961
Harold was the point guard and floor general for the state champion Ashland Tomcats in the epic 1961 season. The book entitled Teamwork was an accurate depiction of one of Kentucky’s greatest teams. Harold’s selfless play and outstanding leadership were key elements in the 36-1 championship season. Harold was named to the All-State team and the KHSAA State Tournament team that same year.
