Jimmy Dan Conner

Anderson County High School 1967-1971 Jimmy Dan was named Mr. Kentucky Basketball in 1971 while also receiving Parade All-American honors that same year. He was named first team All-State in both 1970 and 1971. While leading the Anderson County Bearcats to a runner-up finish in the 1971 Sweet 16 and being named to the all-tournament team that same year, Jimmy Dan “wowed” the crowd with his high arching jump shot and classic style. Conner signed a basketball scholarship with the University of Kentucky where he enjoyed a stellar career.
